July 20th, 2005 - Welch Products enlists the services of Peter Kopp
of Motavo Venture Group. Motavo's
founder and CEO, Peter Kopp, is working with Welch to assist with business
planning, analysis and strategy as well as due diligence activities for
proposed M& A activity.
Motavo Venture Group is a professional services firm based in Denver that
provides corporate development services to emerging organizations.
Mr. Kopp is a seasoned professional with more than fifteen years of
experience in corporate development, corporate finance, mergers and
acquisitions, and strategic planning.
Pete has assisted a number of companies across a variety of industries
to raise capital, complete mergers and acquisitions, create strategic plans and
develop competitive products and services.
Through Motavo Venture Group, Pete currently serves as an advisor or
board director for a number of early-stage companies. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration
from Ferris State University of Michigan, majoring in finance and
economics. He has pursued post-graduate
education in finance, risk management and telecommunications.
Mr. Kopp is a
Certified Total Cost of Ownership Expert (CTE). He is a member of the Rockies Venture Club in Denver, and is
recognized as a semi-finalist for Ernst and Young's 2005 Entrepreneur of the
Year in Colorado.
Mr. Kopp's
experience, as a business professional, will be an excellent addition to Welch
Product's management team as the company continues to execute on its business
plan.
