Vegetation Control Products, from
Recycled Tires, Receives Approval in the State of Oregon
Welch Products Announced today that its patented
Duro-Trim vegetation control product was approved by the Oregon Department of
Transportation (ODOT) for conditional use, subject to a trial installation.
This approval is the first step in validating the
effectiveness of our vegetation control products in the state of Oregon",
stated Shannon Godwin, Director of Communications for Welch Products. "We now have a green light to work with
individual districts within the state to demonstrate that high-quality, durable
products made with recycled rubber, such as vegetation control mats, are an
economical and safe method for weed control along Oregon's highways."
