Welch Receives Positive Reception
from Correctional Industry Trade Show in Atlantic City

Products attends National Correctional Industries Association (NCIA) Enterprise
2006 Training Conference and Exposition on March 27th - 30th,
at the Bally's Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City New Jersey
The theme for this year's convention was "Charting
the Course", and not only provided networking among correctional professionals,
but also provided a comprehensive curriculum designed around the changing
correctional industry environment.
Also, over one hundred exhibitors were on hand to demonstrate the latest
in correctional industry enterprises.

Products displayed a variety of high quality rubber products at the NCIA
exhibition including 1,400 pounds of DuroMat Extended Life™ playground safety
surfacing. Many conference attendees
were able to test the playground surfacing first hand.

Products also presented its patent pending Overall Solutions® model which provides
a common sense concept for Correctional Industries that delivers a turn key
solution for manufacturing and marketing high quality products from recycled
rubber.

Solutions® allows correctional facilities to manufacture products such as
playground safety tiles, guardrail spacer blocks and construction molds from
recycled rubber", stated Shannon Godwin, Communications Director for Welch
Products. "Our manufacturing process utilizes a raw material readily found
in every state, crumb rubber derived from waste tires, and as a part of Overall
Solutions® we provide a comprehensive market development plan for each of these
products."
Welch
has refined its patented cold cure manufacturing process which lends itself
nicely to Correctional Industry applications. This process will put offenders to work, provide products at a
savings to state agencies and help minimize the state's waste tire
problem.

the Welch booth to get a first hand look at the variety of products that could
be made from recycled rubber. We were
